In 1999, Amy entered into a barrage of fiery trials, both physical and spiritual. Four and a half years later, after countless prayers and multiple surgeries, Amy emerged victorious after learning to fully rely on God to be in control of her physical, emotional and spiritual being. She shares "One of the most profound changes took place when God literally laid me down, asked me if I was ready to give Him complete control, and then let Him take me through the darkest valley of my life. God began to expose some lies I had believed, such as: that's just the way I am, and I can't change. As a result of coming out the other end of that trial, I have a message of hope to share. That message being, 'God can change you from the inside out, set you free, heal the deepest wounds and restore your broken life. The message that is impressed upon my heart is one that exposes the lies of the enemy. I discovered that being a child of God is enough and in fact, is everything I need and more.'"
In the midst of her struggles, Amy enrolled in a program called "The Life Training Institute". Two years later, in August of 2002, she graduated and became an ordained Pastor. Amy is involved at her home church teaching, preaching, and doing pastoral work. She has also led small group Bible studies. Amy has preached at a campground in Wisconsin for several years and is now speaking all over the state as the opportunities arise. Her greatest joy is sharing a life changing message of hope and restoration with others. A truth that she not only learned, but lived. Amy Towns was born and raised in Neenah, WI. A lifelong church attendee, she came to know the Lord as her personal Savior in 1978. Amy met her husband Chuck during High School. They were married 3 years later in 1984. Chuck and Amy have two grown sons.
